Mouse Mountain Elementary School is located in the small north-central B.C. town of Fraser Lake. Our school is located on the tradition and unceded lands of the Stellat'en First Nations and the Nadleh Whut'en First Nations and we are grateful to live, work and play on these lands. The population of Fraser Lake is less than 2000 and the two major employers are the mining and forestry industries.
Mouse Mountain is a primary school (K-3) with about 128 students.
Teamwork is the backbone of the successes of our school. Our staff has a history of professional collaboration that fosters school-wide approaches to learning across the curriculum. We have a strong focus in the areas of social-emotional learning, literacy, and numeracy.
