About the Program

Mouse Mountain School offers before and afterschool care allowing students needing childcare outside of school hours to stay in the same caring, play-based environment throughout the day. The program runs from 7:30 – 5:30 daily.  We have two staff: a morning care provider, and an afterschool care provider who also spend time in the primary classrooms, supporting all students, during the school day. Our program offers care for school-aged students up to the age of 12 years, with bus transportation to and from FLESS for older students. 

 Our program shares a philosophy that is supportive of the right of every child and family to expect and receive the highest quality of child care that we can offer. We are committed to providing a multicultural, inclusive, early learning program for all children in a nurturing environment that is respectful of each individual child’s needs. 

Affordable Childcare Benefit

Families who are registered in the before and after school care program may be eligible for a subsidy to cover partial of full cost of child care. You can learn more about Affordable Child Care Benefit on the ACCB website or contact the school for more info. We will help you through the process of applying.
